The Steel (Band) Pan is reputed to be the only musical instrument invented in the 20th century and its roots are Trinidadian. It is only fitting that an American based
jeweller with Trinidadian roots and a passion for steel pan music would create a collection of
jewelry that commemorates the Pan.
Michael Todd's daughter, Michelle, said about her father.
'My father is originally from Port of Spain, Trinidad. He learned the trade of
jewelry in Trinidad and migrated to the United States in his early twenties. His love for the craft and steel pan music evolved the collection he presently represents on his website through the various
jewelry items displayed and a result of his 30 years experience as a jeweler'.
